Flea Markets Local to Central Massachusetts

Finally! Spring is here, it seems safe to venture out, and flea markets are opening up again!
One of our favorite very local flea markets is the Rietta Flea Market in Hubbardston, which reopened April 3. This is a fun Sunday (sunny day) flea market with multiple vendors and free parking. Opening at 6:30 AM, you can plan on coming early for the best selection and to beat the crowds. No pets, please!
Another great flea market that is a little more of a trip is the Todd Farm Flea Market, located on Route 1A in Rowley MA. They require masks and social distancing. This flea market is a little more "antique-y" than Rietta, and also a good-weather Sunday event. From their site:
Most items sold at Todd Farm Flea Market are antique, collectibles, used items, etc.--craft items will not sell at Todd Farm for whatever reason. However, we do love to see items that you create yourself, such as jewelry, paintings, ceramics, ornaments, wood items, furniture, etc. We discourage new items (when they are purchased for resale) unless they are accompanied by 50% older items. Food & drinks are sold by the family only! On a given day, Flea Market Guide has said 3,000 - 5,000 people visit the market which runs early morning to early afternoon.
An indoor venue that has an out-door flea market feel, Jeffrey's Antique Co-op Mall in Lunenburg MA is less at the mercy of the weather gods while offering a lot of variety. Open daily from 10-2 or 3, a trip to Jeffrey's is time well-spent! "Antiques Are A Great Way To Go Green... Re-Purpose..Re-Use...Re-Cycle..."
Happy Picking!
